JOB SUMMARY
As the General Manager of Plant Operations & Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient functioning of plants located at Nimrani, MP. You will play role in implementing strategies to achieve strategic operational goals, drive key initiatives, and enhance business metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to ensure smooth operations across plant. Develop and implement
operational plans to optimize efficiency and productivity while maintaining high safety standards.
2. Maintenance Management: Oversee the maintenance activities of all plant equipment and machinery to minimize downtime
and ensure uninterrupted production. Develop preventive maintenance schedules and implement best practices to enhance
asset reliability.
3. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategies aimed at achieving operational
excellence and meeting business objectives. Identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance operational
efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
4. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of operations and maintenance professionals across plant locations. Foster a
culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
5. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to
plant operations and maintenance. Implement robust safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for
all employees.
6. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors to procure necessary resources
and services for plant operations and maintenance activities. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness
and quality.
7. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall
operational efficiency. Implement performance metrics and KPIs to monitor progress and drive accountability.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in managing operations and maintenance of manufacturing plants, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
